Vocational Nurse Training

Sequoia Adult School in partnership with Boston Reed College offers a Vocational Nurse Training Program. Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) may provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent and disabled persons in hospitals, clinics, private homes, schools, sanitariums and similar institutions. The 1530-hour course is a competency-based, structured curriculum combined with clinical rotations in health care facilities. California State exam required for licensure, (NCLEX-PN). You must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) and hold a California Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification or Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) certificate of completion.
