How
Do I Know If I Am Ready to Pass the GED Exams?
It is strongly
recommended that you do not register for the GED Tests unless you have
taken the GED Official Practice Tests. These tests are designed
to predict how you will score on the "real" GED exams. You
may take these tests in any of our GED classes.
|
| |
What
are the Official GED Practice Tests?
The Official
GED Practice Tests are half as long as the "real" tests. They
are used to determine whether or not a candidate is ready to pass one
or more of the GED subtests. You may take these tests in the GED preparation
classes listed below. There is no charge.
|
| |
How
Can I Prepare for the GED Tests?
Sequoia
Adult School offers preparation classes at various times and locations
in the community. The classes are open-entry/open-exit. Students may
enroll to study one or more of the GED subject areas. Small group instruction,
individual tutoring, video and computer-assisted instruction are available.
The GED instructors use the results of the Official GED Practice Tests
to design an individual plan for you based on your educational strengths
and weaknesses.
|
| |
How
Long Will It Take to Get My GED?
The time
needed to prepare for the five subtests varies with each individual.
The length of preparation study will depend on your skill levels when
