School Diploma, GED, Adult Basic Education
Learn at your own pace! The following three options are available for individualized, self-paced study where adult students can complete courses to:
Sequoia Adult School requires
completion of 180 credits for high school diploma. Credits are given
for classes taken after 8th grade at other high schools, adult schools
or at colleges. In addition, credits are given for work experience,
military training or pre-approved vocational classes. A flexible evening
schedule allows you to make up the credits you lack.
High School Diploma classes are held evenings at Middlefield Center.

If you are 17 years and 10 months or older and do not hold a high school diploma, you may obtain the equivalency to a high school diploma by passing the GED test. To help you achieve your academic goal, we strongly advise that you take advantage of our preparation program for at least 12 hours before registering for the exam. Most employers and colleges/universities accept a GED Certificate as proof that you have completed your high school education.
